Youth Center “PROSTO”

The “PROSTO” Youth Center in Zhytomyr is a space that combines high-quality informal education, psychological support, and a safe environment for youth development. The center serves teenagers, young adults, children, and parents, as well as people with neurodivergent conditions and young people with Down syndrome, creating opportunities for inclusion in the community without stigma or barriers. The center offers educational programs on leadership, communication, civic education, emotional intelligence, and creative development. Special attention is given to practical skills, group work, and the development of critical thinking. “PROSTO” conducts training sessions for teenagers, art therapy sessions, creative workshops, psychological counseling sessions, and initiatives that help young people adapt to the challenges of war and social instability. An important part of our work is bookcrossing and promoting a culture of reading as a means of dialogue and self-development. Our center fosters an environment where everyone can feel supported, express themselves, and discover their own potential for growth.
