information
Drohobych’s youth space is located in the city center, opposite the Roman Catholic church, in the building that formerly housed the Teachers' House. A mural featuring the space's logo—created during a BUR camp in Drohobych—adorns the building's exterior wall. The space itself is situated on the second floor and includes a courtyard with interactive furniture. It is generally open from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The facility offers Wi-Fi access and a well-equipped hall for hosting various events.
Events: The venue has hosted a Christmas fair for two consecutive years and regularly holds weekly English clubs, jazz nights, workshops, dialogue clubs, "Solonyi" film screenings, stand-up comedy nights, parties, meet-and-greets with interesting locals, rock concerts, training sessions, photo exhibitions, performances by the "Alter" theater, and more.
Drohobych’s youth space is a hub for generating ideas and finding answers to the challenges facing young people; a platform for communication between the authorities, the community, and the business sector; and a place for learning and cultivating agents of change for both the city and the country.
The mission of the Drohobych Youth Space is to serve as an engaging and creative platform for the city's youth—a place for learning and creative self-expression, non-formal education, clubs and gatherings, the exchange of ideas, and collaboration.
Our core operating principles are openness, the ability to listen to one another, assistance in bringing ideas to life, and engaging as many young people as possible.
