information
The “Keneberg” is located near the local village council; there are two cafes nearby where you can have lunch at very reasonable prices. The center is open virtually every day, by arrangement with the coordinator; occasionally, as an exception, it is closed on holidays. Visiting hours are generally from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The center itself consists of a space with four areas (an auditorium, a workspace, a room for individual consultations, and a reception area). It features video recording equipment, a mini-library, board games, a photo and video area, Wi-Fi access, a kitchenette, and all the necessary office supplies for hosting events and carrying out initiatives. The space is alcohol- and tobacco-free.
The vision of the “Keneberg” Youth Information and Resource Center is to provide a space for offering and accessing resources and programs for the personal, educational, and professional growth of young people. It involves using modern approaches in its work, fostering creativity and technological development, promoting social cohesion, encouraging mutual respect, and facilitating effective communication in an informal atmosphere.
The mission of the “Keneberg” Youth Information Center is to inspire young people to take socially meaningful action, to foster their personal growth, and to cultivate a culture of mutual support and social responsibility. Our work is based on the belief that young people are the driving force behind change, capable of creating a more just and sustainable world.
Leadership development, partnership, volunteerism, innovation, social responsibility, and youth participation in decision-making.
